Head of Maluku Disbudpar, Florence Sahusilawane, said the number of participants who sign up to the end of February to reach 200's of people from 20 countries.
"It was a surprise because the participants can reach 200's of people," he said.
The number of applicants exceeded the target (75 people), shows, tourism promotion and the event itself went smoothly, but more conducive security in Maluku.
"This progress shows that promotion that we do run well and the international community is convinced that the Moluccas is safe to go," said Sahusilawane.
Until next July will still be lots of sailors and tourists who sign up to follow Banda Sail 2010, which is the Sail Indonesia 8th and concentrated in Ambon, Banda Islands, Central Maluku regency and ranging Island, Southwest Maluku District (MBD).
